Links - G8 and the Commission for Africa – resources
In early 2004, the British Prime Minister, Tony Blair, established the Commission for Africa with the aim of taking a fresh look at Africa’s past and present and the international community’s role in its development path. The Commission's report is addressed to the leaders of the G8 and to the wider international community as well as to the people of Africa and the world as a whole. The commission has now concluded its work, and an archive of its findings and recommendations can be found here.
