The Britain-Nigeria Educational Trust has pleasure in announcing that the Guest of Honour at the Trust’s AGM
on Thursday, July 13th, 2017 will be:
His Royal Highness, Emir Sanusi of Kano, Nigeria
The Emir, formerly Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, is ruler of one of the most populous emirates in Nigeria. He has strong views on the importance of Arabic in education and the development of Nigeria.
Anyone interested in Nigeria, Kano in particular, and in African or Nigerian education will be welcome to attend the meeting. The cost of attendance will be £10, payable at the door.
The meeting takes place in the Hall of India and Pakistan at the Royal Overseas League, Park Place, St James’s, London SW1A 1LR. Registration is from 2.30 p.m. It will include the business of the AGM, followed immediately by His Royal Highness’s talk. Afterwards there will be refreshments.
